Büyükkılıç wishes success to students: ‘We provided free courses to 1000 students who will take the LGS’

Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç wished success to the students who will take the High School Transition Exam (LGS) on Sunday, June 2nd. Mayor Büyükkılıç stated that they provided LGS courses to 1000 students through courses held at KAYMEK Youth Centers.
Always standing by the students with their services in the field of education, Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç published a message before the LGS, wishing success and ease to the students taking the exam. Büyükkılıç emphasized that besides making efforts day and night to maintain effective and quality local governance services in the city, they also strive for the future generations to be self-confident, educated, equipped, and individuals who achieve success for the sake of humanity.
KAYMEK, always by the students’ side during the exam marathon. Mayor Büyükkılıç, stating that the courses held at Metropolitan Municipality KAYMEK Youth Centers are supporters of the students during the exam marathon, said, ‘Through our KAYMEK, which operates like the sixth university of Kayseri, we have been a strong supporter of our students. This year, we provided LGS courses at KAYMEK Youth Centers for 1000 students. Furthermore, we have been and will continue to be by our students’ side academically as well as socially in terms of culture, art, sports, with all our libraries including our 24/7 library and other social facilities’.
Büyükkılıç wished success to the students taking the exam, saying, ‘Our children who will take the LGS on Sunday have worked day and night until today, they have done their best for their dreams and ideals. I wish them to be able to win the schools that decorate their dreams in the exam, and I kiss the eyes of our children, wishing each of our children who will take the exam from the bottom of my heart.’ Mayor Büyükkılıç also requested drivers not to honk during the exam on Sunday to prevent students’ attention from being distracted and to be more sensitive about this matter.
The 2024 LGS will be held on Sunday, June 2, 2024. The first session of the High School Transition Exam, which will be held in two sessions, will start at 09:30, and the second session will start at 11:30.
