IGA Istanbul Airport CEO Selahattin Bilgen shared on his social media account regarding the latest status of the General Aviation Terminal, the construction of which started a few months ago by the airport operator IGA and is expected to be completed by the end of the year. The terminal, covering an area of 5,000 square meters, will feature stores of famous brands, children’s play areas, and private suites.

The Istanbul Airport General Aviation Terminal, consisting of a total of 40,000 square meters of hangar space and a 5,000 square meter terminal area, is planned to be operational by the end of the year. The terminal, where work is ongoing without interruption, will cater to a very high-end passenger segment and attract more private jet owners to Istanbul worldwide. Thus, it is planned to provide a comfortable airport experience for guests traveling by private jets. The General Aviation Terminal, which is expected to be operational by the end of 2024 and will have an additional investment of 35 million Euros this year, will include stores of world-famous brands, dining areas, children’s play areas, workspaces, VIP transfer services, private suites, and lounge areas.

IGA CEO Selahattin Bilgen, who shared an update on the current status of the General Aviation Terminal under construction on his social media account, stated, ‘We aim to provide our passengers with a unique experience through top-quality services seamlessly from the terminal to the aircraft.
