Training for dealers and wholesalers on plant protection products

Eskişehir Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry organized a training meeting for dealers and wholesalers about plant protection products. According to the directive of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry for conducting simultaneous training and information meetings for dealers and wholesalers nationwide in May, Eskişehir Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry organized a training and information meeting at the social facility on the Kütahya road campus. In the opening speech, Branch Manager Nizamettin Çetiner stated that personnel responsible for the sale and storage of plant protection products approved by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry will provide necessary information. During the presentation by unit manager Osman Erbilgiç, topics such as supply and sale of plant protection products, authorization for selling plant protection products, ban on promotion and sales on the internet, mandatory products to be kept by plant protection product dealers, minimum requirements for retail sales locations, minimum requirements for wholesale locations, minimum requirements for places where plant protection products are stored, application and issuance of dealer or wholesaler permit and warehouse permit, authorization and responsibilities of dealers, wholesalers, and license-holding companies, changes in dealer, wholesaler and warehouse locations, discontinuation of dealer or wholesaler activity, transfer and death of dealer or wholesaler, changes in title and responsible manager, working order of dealers and wholesalers, work attire of employees working at dealers and wholesalers, obligation of authorized personnel to be present at the dealer, information and documents required for dealers, wholesalers, and license-holding companies, plant protection product tracking system, procedures in case of loss or damage of authorization documents, provisions regarding cancellation of authorization documents, and administrative sanctions were explained in detail. The training meeting was attended by Branch Manager Nizamettin Çetiner from the Plant Production and Plant Health Department, along with subject specialists Agricultural Engineers Osman Erbilgiç, Hasret Altay, technician Habibe Bardakcı, and representatives of Plant Protection Product Dealers and Wholesalers. The said training program concluded with responding to questions, collecting opinions and suggestions from the dealers and wholesalers attending the meeting.
