Kıragası: ‘We will integrate with the people of Erzincan and win the Azerbaijan match’

Ahead of tomorrow’s Azerbaijan match in the 2025 European Championship Qualifiers B League Group 1, the Women’s National Team Head Coach Necla Güngör Kıragası, along with player Busem Şeker, held a press conference at the press room inside Erzincan 13 Şubat City Stadium. Kıragası, stating that they have been in camp in Erzincan since May 20, 2024, mentioned that Erzincan is a high-altitude place, and they arrived early to keep their players ready. She expressed gratitude for the close attention and care shown to them by the Governor, Youth Sports Provincial Director, police, stadium, and hotel staff during their stay in Erzincan. Kıragası emphasized the intense preparations since May 20, mentioning the special training programs provided to the players by their club coaches. She highlighted the importance of the upcoming matches against Azerbaijan in their roadmap. Kıragası expressed the team’s goal to win the first official national match in Erzincan’s history, aiming to play in the Play-Offs. Busem Şeker, on the other hand, praised the team’s high level of motivation and emphasized their desire to win the match against Azerbaijan with the support of Erzincan locals.
