Journey to the Horizon found its award winners
The awards for the participants who ranked in the Horizon Journey 11 Knowledge and Culture Competition were presented in Kayseri. The prizes were awarded to the winners of the Horizon Journey 11 Knowledge and Culture Competition supported by the Positive Young Scouting Sports Club in Kayseri.

The awards of the Ufka Yolculuk 11 Knowledge and Culture Competition in Kayseri were presented to the winners at a ceremony. The Ufka Yolculuk 11 Knowledge and Culture Competition, supported by the Pozitif Genç İzcilik Spor Kulübü in Kayseri, found its award recipients. Participants who improved themselves both materially and spiritually with the books they read also received their awards. The award ceremony held at the Melikgazi Municipality Theater Hall was quite exciting. Hüseyin Bozlak, the Ufka Yolculuk Kayseri Representative, stated that they reached the most beautiful part of the competition process that lasted about 7 months. Bozlak said, ‘A total of 20,002 people participated in the competition held in elementary, middle school, high school, and adult categories. We awarded 124 participants who ranked in the top 3 and in various degrees and fields a total of 102,000 TL. In addition, we also gave various gifts through a draw to 11 people who attended the award ceremony. Our aim is to raise a generation of book lovers who read, understand what they read, and apply it in their lives. There are no losers in this competition. All our participants have improved themselves by reading books. We thank everyone who supported us throughout the competition.’ Mustafa Deveci, the President of Pozitif Genç İzcilik ve Spor Kulübü, stated that they work to raise a generation with national and spiritual values as a club. Deveci noted that in addition to scouting activities, they contribute to society in the field of youth as well, emphasizing that this competition is also organized within the scope of youth activities. Kayseri Deputy Mufti Cabir Çelik, who attended the ceremony, emphasized the importance of such youth activities for individuals and society, stating that this competition, held for 11 years, has now become institutionalized. Highlighting the importance of such events in the personal development of individuals, Çelik stated, ‘We need people who will set a good example for society, who are morally advanced and will not hurt others even if they are hurt. Such events are also very important on this path.’ Kayseri Deputy Governor Adnan Tezcan also stated that a society that reads can improve itself. Deputy Governor Tezcan thanked everyone who participated in the competition and read books. Following the speeches, awards were presented to 124 participants who ranked in various categories. Advisory teachers in schools also received awards. The mascot of the competition, ‘UFYO’, entertained children and provided a cheerful time for the participants. Mustafa Köylü, a 71-year-old participant from the Yahyalı district, also received an award in the ‘adult’ category in the competition. Mustafa Köylü, who was awarded as the ‘most consistent’ participant and who has consistently ranked in every competition, received his award from the former president of the Kayseri Education, Culture, Ethics, and Environment Association, Ali Kilci. The award ceremony was attended by many guests, including Kayseri Deputy Governor Adnan Tezcan, Talas District National Education Director Mustafa Elmalı, Kayseri Deputy Mufti Cabir Çelik, President of Pozitif Genç İzcilik Spor Kulübü Mustafa Deveci.
