Republican People’s Party (CHP) Kayseri Provincial Chairman Feyzullah Keskin made a call for common sense before the election to be held in Pınarbaşı district on June 2nd. The CHP Provincial Chairman Feyzullah Keskin, who held a press conference at the Provincial Presidency, stated that the elections on Sunday are a competition of services and called for common sense before the elections. Keskin stated in his announcement; ‘Elections are not a war, elections are a competition of services. The people give their votes to the person who can provide better service. However, for some reason, in Pınarbaşı, it seems that there is an attempt to create a tense and chaotic atmosphere in a very interesting way. We want to make a call for common sense in terms of seeing this not as a battlefield in Pınarbaşı, but as a struggle for service to Pınarbaşı. The people of Pınarbaşı have been living fraternally for years despite ethnic differences. However, since March 31, politicians have been making statements aiming to divide the people who live fraternally just to win the election. We condemn this. We are not only thinking about June 2nd, we are also thinking about June 3rd. On June 3rd, we yearn for a Pınarbaşı where people do not look at each other with suspicion, but walk arm in arm on the same sidewalk. In this sense, we see the elections to be held on June 2nd in this way. Therefore, no matter who wins, let the people of Pınarbaşı continue peacefully on June 3rd. There is Deniz Yağan, who has not been seated in his chair for 2 months, who has not been given his mandate for 2 months. I believe that justice will prevail, and on June 2nd, the people of Pınarbaşı will once again grant Deniz Yağan the title of mayor.’ Answering the questions of the press members, Provincial Chairman Keskin added that in the surveys conducted before the elections, Deniz Yağan is ahead.
