A year-end graduation program was held for 53 young students studying at the 4-6 Age Quran Courses affiliated with the Hisarcık District Mufti’s Office in Kütahya. The year-end graduation program for 4-6 age Quran Courses, held at the Closed Market Place, started with the recitation of the Quran followed by a hymn and prayer. After the recitation, preschool students presented various activities. The students recited the Quran from memory, as well as hymns and prayers. The program was attended by District Governor Muhammet Samet Bahar, Mayor Mustafa Demirtaş, District Gendarmerie Commander Lieutenant Alperen Korkut, District Police Chief Ayhan Istık, Vocational School Director Burak Kavaslar, District Mufti Sebahattin Ceyhun, and other officials. District Mufti Sebahattin Akyol, speaking at the opening of the program, stated, ‘Due to the impact of the pandemic, we reopened the 4-6 Age Quran Courses in 2020 with 6 students. The following year, the number of students increased to 15. In the subsequent year, this number reached 30 students. This year, we reached 53 students. Our people show great interest in this education. Hopefully, we will make efforts to expand these courses. All these students have learned the Quran letters recently. 20 of our students have moved on to reciting the Quran. They can recite the Quran with their mothers, fathers, grandfathers, and grandmothers.’
