Handmade and painstaking works of art have been unveiled in Çorum

Çorum Municipality Women’s Culture and Art Centers opened their end-of-year exhibition. The works where women’s efforts turned into art were displayed at the exhibition held at the Buhara Culture Center.

Handcrafted products of women participating in courses at Çorum Municipality Women’s Culture and Art Centers came together at the end-of-year exhibition. The opening of the exhibition was attended by MHP Çorum Deputy Vahit Kayırıcı, Mayor Dr. Halil İbrahim Aşgın, Provincial Director of National Education Abdullah Kodek, AK Party Provincial Chairman Murat Günay, MHP Provincial Chairman Mehmet İhsan Çıplak, AK Party Central District Chairman Erhan Akar, Provincial General Assembly President Muhammed Fatih Temur, Idealist Hearths President Orhan Tosik, and many other guests.

’67 courses opened’

Mayor Dr. Halil İbrahim Aşgın stated in his speech at the opening of the exhibition that they provided services to 5,700 course participants in 67 branches opened in the Women’s Culture and Art Centers located in 8 regions of our city for the 2023-2024 period.
Mayor Aşgın said, ‘We value the efforts and endeavors of our course participants. I congratulate the personnel of the Women and Family Services Directorate who serve our course participants here. Our services for women, in our Women’s Handicrafts Bazaar and Women’s Culture Centers, will continue to increase.’

‘We will continue to stand by our municipality’

MHP Çorum Deputy Vakit Kayrıcı, thanking Çorum Municipality, said, ‘As the People’s Alliance, we will continue to stand by our municipality and together we will continue to do good services for Çorum.’
After the speeches, the opening ribbon of the exhibition was cut. The guests who toured the exhibition gave full marks to the handcrafted products prepared by female course participants.
