The crater lake, which also attracts the special attention of astronauts in space and nature photographers, was captured from an altitude of 2,700 meters using the time-lapse shooting technique. Nemrut Caldera, captured from many different angles for hours, created fascinating views with intense cloud transitions passing over it. Nature photographer Oktay Subaşı, who climbed to the summit of the caldera at an altitude of 2,700 meters to capture cloud transitions, said that they recorded the cloud transitions on the caldera using the time-lapse shooting technique with a group of friends. Subaşı stated that they obtained impressive results after hours of recording and emphasized that the cloud transitions added beauty to the caldera. Another nature photographer, Hakan Okay, mentioned that the unique view of the caldera turned into a visual feast with the cloud transitions. Okay expressed that Nemrut Caldera’s natural beauty and cloud transitions offer a unique opportunity for photographers. We tried to capture cloud transitions for the first time using the time-lapse shooting technique from the summit of the caldera at 2,700 meters. The results were truly magnificent.
