Chamber and Exchange Joint Meeting

The ‘Chamber and Exchange Joint Meeting’, where problems and solution suggestions regarding the economy of Samsun were evaluated, was held under the chairmanship of the Governor of Samsun, Orhan Tavlı. The meeting where agenda items related to the economy of Samsun were discussed, named ‘Joint Meeting of Chambers and Exchanges of Samsun Province and Districts’, took place at the Service Building of the Wednesday Organized Industrial Zone (OSB) with the participation of chamber and exchange board presidents. Speaking at the meeting, the President of Samsun Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TSO), Salih Zeki Murzioğlu, stated, ‘Our work for our city always stays true to the principle of focusing on our members. The agendas and problems of our members, as well as the solution suggestions for these problems, are an important roadmap for us. We continue our work for the development of Samsun in all areas.’ The President of the Wednesday Commodity Exchange, Kazım Yılmaz, also stated, ‘The welfare and development of our members will contribute to the development of our districts and our city, and the development of our city will in turn benefit our members. Important steps will be taken towards the economic growth of our districts and Samsun in line with the views and opinions of all chamber and exchange presidents.’ Vali Orhan Tavlı, who listened to the chamber and exchange presidents at the meeting, expressed that the OSB established in Wednesday will greatly contribute to the industries of Samsun and Wednesday and stated that there are high expectations from the region. Tavlı said, ‘Wednesday continues to grow not only in agriculture but also in industry, and the companies established in the industrial zone are a source of pride for Samsun.’ The meeting was also attended by Vice Governor/Canik District Governor Vehbi Bakır, Wednesday District Governor Assoc. Dr. Şükrü Yıldırım, and district chamber and exchange presidents.
