A spring trip was organized to introduce the historical and natural beauties of Şavşat

An off-road trip was organized with off-road vehicles to introduce the historical sites and natural beauties of Şavşat district, which holds the title of a calm city in Artvin.
Within the scope of the event organized in collaboration with Artvin Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism and Off-Road Sports Club, individuals who produce social media content in Artvin and surrounding provinces visited touristic places in the city, taking photos and videos.
During the event supported by Artvin and Şavşat Off-Road clubs with their off-road vehicles, natural and historical touristic places like Şavşat Castle, Tibet Church, Balık Lake, Fairy Chimneys, and Karagöl were visited. Participants had the opportunity to see the historical and natural beauties of the district by passing through challenging roads while experiencing the thrill of off-roading. As the spring season arrived, the blossoming nature mesmerized everyone, and the participants had a fun time.
Artvin Provincial Director of Culture and Tourism, Yunus Emre Aytekin, stated in his remarks about the event, “Şavşat is already one of the most beautiful districts of our province, which is the jewel of Eastern Black Sea, offering us many elements together with its greenery, nature, and history. Şavşat has so much beauty that we cannot explore in a single-day program, but at least with such small programs, our main goal is to create social media interaction and promote our province in this way.”
President of Artvin Off-Road Sports Club, Zafer Sinir, also commented, “This is an organization we have carried out to promote the historical and natural beauties as well as tourism spots of Artvin. Currently, we have realized this event with 26 vehicles from Artvin and 13 vehicles from Şavşat. We are doing everything possible to introduce these unique beauties to people.”
Social media content creator Oktay Sarıkaya mentioned that they capture photos and videos of the places they visit and share the natural beauties with their followers.
