Training on preparing CVs for the youth

Antalya Metropolitan Municipality provided a CV preparation training for the young people of Antalya at HUB Antalya Entrepreneurship Center. Antalya Metropolitan Municipality continues its efforts to prepare the youth for the future in a good way, to become beneficial and productive individuals. In this context, a ‘CV Preparation Training’ was provided at HUB Antalya Entrepreneurship Center to help the youth better prepare for the future, express themselves correctly, and not have difficulties entering the business life. The training covered CV preparation and interview techniques. The training was given by Müge Bilen, who works as a Job and Vocational Counselor at İşkur, and attracted young people who wanted to learn how to prepare a CV and be more comfortable in job interviews. The training, attended by high school and university students, covered topics such as ‘What is a CV? Types of CVs, How to prepare a CV?’ as well as ‘Interview techniques, body language management, image management.’ Students who stated that they would have less difficulty in the recruitment process thanks to the training expressed their happiness for the training prepared by Antalya Metropolitan Municipality.Akdeniz University student Kudret Çeliköz expressed that every young person should know how to prepare a good CV, stating that the CV is a kind of personal advertisement, and said that he was happy with the training. Çeliköz said, ‘I learned how to prepare a CV properly here. I learned what the important points are, especially where we need to emphasize. Antalya Metropolitan Municipality provided another good training with its expert staff. I thank the municipal management.’ Sinem Karakaş, a student at Akdeniz University who participated in the training, said, ‘Preparing a CV is very important for every individual with career goals. We received a good training. We learned many things in a short time. We mastered important details. We learned the disadvantages of the small mistakes we have made so far and how to correct them. I believe that this training was very beneficial for us.’
