Sisli Municipality has launched the ‘Mobile Urban Restaurant’ project to bring healthy, delicious, and affordable meal services offered by urban restaurants to the citizens’ doorstep. To provide service on the go, a truck was converted into a mobile restaurant. The first stop of the mobile urban restaurant was in front of Perpa Trade Center on Darulaceze Street. The opening of the mobile urban restaurant, which attracted great interest from the citizens, was conducted by Sisli Mayor Resul Emrah Sahan. Sahan, serving meals to those waiting in line in front of the mobile restaurant, joined the citizens for a meal.
Four-course menu for 40 Turkish Lira. The menu, consisting of four dishes meticulously prepared by experienced chefs in hygienic kitchens, was served for 40 Turkish Lira. The menu on the first day of the mobile urban restaurant included ‘lentil soup, boiled beef, buttered pasta, apple, water’.
Mobile Restaurant: Constantly changing locations. The mobile urban restaurant will be positioned in different areas of Sisli at regular intervals, allowing citizens from all around to benefit from this service from their nearest point. Sisli residents can follow the new stops of the mobile urban restaurant on Sisli Municipality’s social media accounts and official website.
“At buffets it’s 150 lira, here it’s 40 lira.” Ibrahim Gunay, who expressed his desire for the Urban Restaurant service to be available everywhere, said, “The taste is excellent. I have come twice before. We are really satisfied. It’s 150 lira at buffets, it’s 40 lira here. It’s really good. We want this service to be available everywhere.”
“We also deserve to eat cheaper meals.” Mehmet Cebeci, thanking Sisli Municipality for the Urban Restaurant, said, “We thank Sisli Municipality very much. We can’t keep up due to the high cost of living. We thank Sisli Municipality for bringing us here and reuniting us. We also deserve to eat cheaper meals.”
