Malatya Entrepreneur Business People Association (MAGİNDER) President Salih Karademir stated that they want to solve the problems of the city after the earthquake by consulting with all non-governmental organizations. As part of institutional visits, Malatya Entrepreneur Business People Association (MAGİNDER) President Salih Karademir and board members recently visited Malatya Bar Association President Lawyer Onur Demez to discuss problems and solution suggestions. MAGİNDER President Salih Karademir, expressing that one of the biggest problems of Malatya after February 6 is the lack of a courthouse, said, ‘We know that there are significant problems due to the absence of a courthouse. Today, as the business world, we came together to discuss the problems and issues of our city by visiting our president.’ Karademir, stating that there was a serious destruction in Malatya after the earthquake on February 6, added, ‘Currently, Malatya is the only province in Turkey without a courthouse. Our lawyers are experiencing the biggest problem because of this. As the business world, we are also aware of this. We visited today to hold a joint consultation meeting on the situation of the courthouse and the difficulties of our lawyers and the business world. Hopefully, we will meet more often for the problems of Malatya. In this sense, our Bar Association is a very important institution in Malatya. The best place to voice the problems of Malatya is, again, the courthouses. As you know, it is very difficult for the business world to survive where there is no justice in Turkey. In this sense, we see our Bar President’s efforts for Malatya to rise again, they have been on the field since the first day of the earthquake, doing the necessary work.’ Malatya Bar Association President Lawyer Onur Demez expressed his satisfaction with the visit, saying, ‘It is a city that experienced the disaster of February 6, and then our people searched for a place to help them. And we saw that people clung to MAGİNDER at this stage. We saw that they rushed to serve my people, distributed aid, in short, we saw that they were a breath to Malatya, so I thank them. I believe that they have done more than a association during the earthquake process and have made very good efforts.’ Karademir also stated that after the courthouse collapsed following the earthquake, judicial services are currently provided at 7 different locations in Malatya. He said, ‘I would like to mention that they have always been by our side and will support all necessary work regarding this issue. I believe that beautiful consultations will be made with Malatya’s justice system, and decisions will be made on taking necessary steps in beautiful matters. I thank them very much for this matter.’
