Prizes were awarded to the winners of the National Endurance Horse Racing Competition

The awards were presented to the athletes who ranked in the ‘National Equestrian Endurance Tahir Horoz’ competition organized by the Turkish Equestrian Federation and Burak Atlı Sports Club in Kayseri on May 24-26. The award ceremony held at Burak Horse Farm was attended by the Mayor of Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality, Equestrian Sports Club Representatives, and athletes. Equestrian athletes competed fiercely for 2 days in challenging weather conditions. The athletes who ranked in the finals held today were awarded prizes. Among the athletes competing in different categories, the 3rd place athlete received 2,500 TL, the 2nd place athlete received 5,000 TL, and the 1st place athlete received a prize of 10,000 TL. Mayor of Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality, Memduh Büyükkılıç, presented the awards to the athletes, thanking those involved in the organization and the participating athletes, saying, ‘I thank our friends who have come from near and far to our city. I thank the valuable son who organized such a beautiful organization in the name of our late friend Tahir Horuz and the managers of Burak Horse Farm here. I congratulate our friends who have achieved success and are running from success to success. Hopefully, we expect more. Maybe the weather conditions challenged you. However, the conditions were the same for everyone. Ultimately, Kayseri is known as a city that provides the comfort of big cities and does not cause the troubles of big cities. In this sense, I hope our friends from outside have been comfortable. I thank them again. While expressing our satisfaction here to host you in bigger organizations, as Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality, our friends know that we have facilities in archery and equestrian archery. I share that it is indeed one of the few facilities in Turkey. We are in an understanding that says we are the center of trade and industry, the apple of Central Anatolia’s eye, moving towards a good point in tourism, and we are also present in the sports field.’
