In the context of the International Gastro BODRUM 24 events, students of the Culinary Arts Program of Kayseri University Develi Hüseyin Şahin Vocational School won a total of 1 gold, 9 silver, and 1 bronze medals in cooking competitions. In the inter-university Turkish Cuisine main dish competition category, KAYÜ student Hamit Emin Yıldız won the first place and a gold medal, while in the same category, KAYÜ student Burak Taha Sarıçam won a silver medal. In the inter-university team competitions, in the 1st category, KAYÜ students Rümeysa Özbay, Hilal Bedir, and Zübeyde Çatal won silver medals, and in the 2nd category, KAYÜ students Ayşenur Dikme, Hasan Hüseyin Durmaz, and Senem Engür won silver medals. In the inter-university individual dessert plate category, KAYÜ student Cemre Dilan Kocatepe won a silver medal, and in the same category, KAYÜ student Aleyna Akdeniz won a silver medal. In the International Gastro Bodrum 24 bread competition category, with the bread made of gacer flour, KAYÜ student Metehan Bozkurt won a silver medal. In the Chef’s Bodrum Cuisine category, KAYÜ student Metehan Bozkurt and Batuhan Altuntaş won silver medals, and in the Chef’s fish plate category, KAYÜ student İrem Aslan won a silver medal, and Hilal Bedir won a bronze medal. Rector Prof. Dr. Kurtuluş Karamustafa congratulated the students of the Culinary Arts Program and their advisors who succeeded in the International Gastro Bodrum 24 cooking competitions for their achievements.
