Mayor of Esenyurt, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Özer, emphasized his support for sports and athletes by participating in the 4th International Performance Rhythmic Gymnastics Tournament. Mayor Özer stated, ‘Youth is our priority, our children are our future. I promise that Esenyurt Municipality will utilize its resources to the fullest for them in all kinds of cultural, artistic, and sports fields.’ Mayor of Esenyurt, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Özer, continued his support for sports and athletes by participating in the 4th International Performance Rhythmic Gymnastics Tournament, where 700 rhythmic gymnasts from 10 countries competed. The tournament, hosted by Performance Rhythmic Gymnastics Sports Club, took place at Beylikdüzü Sports Complex over three days. Among the spectators watching the colorful moments of successful gymnastic performances were Beylikdüzü Mayor Mehmet Murat Çalık, Istanbul 3rd Region Deputy Seyithan İzsiz, and Beylikdüzü District Youth and Sports Director Göksun Öz. President of Performance Rhythmic Gymnastics Sports Club Mehmet Hanifi Kaya presented a plaque to Mayor Özer for his participation. Mayor of Esenyurt, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Özer, expressed his happiness for the tournament and the support given to athletes, highlighting that the support for sports in Esenyurt will increase. He thanked the valuable President of Esenyurt City Council, dear Mehmet Hanifi Kaya, and everyone involved. Mayor Özer also praised the efforts of neighboring Beylikdüzü, emphasizing the city’s achievements in various fields. He stated Esenyurt has set goals to make it a city of culture, art, and sports. Mayor Özer mentioned rewarding international champions and the importance of promoting such successes on a global scale.
