Within the scope of the year-end activities of Aliağa Municipality Art Center (ASEV), ASEV Turkish Classical Music (TSM) choir presented the concert ‘Yeşilçam Melodies’ to art lovers, offering an unforgettable night to the audience. The concert, consisting of two parts and including the performance of 26 pieces, started with the choir rendition of the song ‘Bir Garip Yolcuyum’. Music enthusiasts showed great interest in the concert held at Ulaş Bayram Open-Air Theater. The audience, filling the Open-Air Theater, accompanied the songs sung by the choir and sometimes solo altogether. In one part of the concert, Choir Conductor Barış Doğan surprised the audience by singing the song ‘Dilek Taşı’ solo. Aliağa Municipality Deputy Director of Culture and Social Affairs Serap Cerrahoğlu, invited to the stage by Conductor Barış Doğan, mesmerized the audience with her performance of the song ‘Eski Dostlar’. The concert, which consisted of music from Yeşilçam films, ended with the choir rendition of the songs ‘Gönül Penceresinden’ and ‘Fesuphanallah’. At the end of the concert, the large choir was applauded standing for minutes.

Öztürk said, ‘I congratulate our choir who devote themselves to art and work hard. I thank each one of them for providing us with such a beautiful night. I express my gratitude to our choir conductor Barış Doğan, who serves our choir and Aliağa with love. I also thank the art-loving citizens of Aliağa who play a leading role in turning Aliağa into a cultural and artistic center and never leave us alone in events.’
