The General President of the Welfare Party, Dr. Fatih Erbakan, stated, ‘God willing, we will establish a just order, fair and ethical municipality governance at the local level’

The President of the Welfare Party, Dr. Fatih Erbakan, pointed out that the era of moral municipality with National Vision has begun, stating, ‘Hopefully, we will establish a just order, fair and moral municipality locally.’ The President of the Welfare Party, Dr. Fatih Erbakan, came to Yozgat to visit the districts and towns they won in the March 31 elections. First, Erbakan visited Yozgat Mayor Kazım Arslan and wished him success, then he met with party members. During his visit, Dr. Fatih Erbakan stated in a press release that the elected mayors will exhibit a just and moral administration. He expressed his thanks and congratulations, saying that they are in Yozgat today to make thank you and congratulatory visits. He congratulated Mayor Kazım Arslan for his efforts for Yozgat during the election period and afterwards. He emphasized the importance of moral municipality and justice, stating that a moral municipality means justice above all. He highlighted two dimensions of justice; one is appointing the right person for the job, eliminating favoritism, nepotism, and unfairness. The other is delivering services fairly, starting from the most urgent and needy areas to the whole city. Erbakan stated his belief that Mayor Arslan will establish this justice in Yozgat. He also mentioned that moral municipality means prosperity, which entails having a balanced budget without debt and interest, which is an essential aspect of National Vision municipalism. He believes that Mayor Arslan will implement this in Yozgat. Erbakan continued his speech by saying that moral municipality means justice, prosperity, service with love for worship, where municipal services are seen as acts of worship without bribery, corruption, unjust enrichment, or theft, emphasizing that the municipal office should be viewed as a place of worship, not a place of trade. He stated that Mayor Arslan will implement this concept. He concluded by saying that a new era has begun in Yozgat, the era of National Vision municipalism, the era of moral municipality. They aim to establish a just order, fair municipality, and moral municipality locally. The President of the Welfare Party, Dr. Fatih Erbakan, after his speech, visited the shopkeepers in the city and then headed to Araplı Town in Sorgun district and Kadışehri district.
