Oil paintings made by healthcare workers are revealed

An exhibition, jointly organized by Kayseri State Hospital and Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality’s KAYMEK A.S., where oil paintings created by healthcare workers were displayed, has been opened. The exhibition held at a shopping mall in the city was inaugurated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. İsmail Altıntop, the Chief Physician of Kayseri State Hospital, who expressed his gratitude to those involved, stating, ‘Health is life, art is life’ philosophy. During a time when healthcare workers were psychologically exhausted due to the pandemic, such activities were initiated in collaboration with KAYMEK. Painting is just one of these activities, alongside activities such as ceramics, marbling, and music courses. I would like to thank everyone, especially the Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Memduh Büyükkılıç, for their efforts. Each work done today is a labor of love, and hopefully, it will have a positive impact on society.’ Serdar Öztürk, Deputy Secretary-General of Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality, mentioned in his speech that a beautiful exhibition was organized in collaboration with healthcare workers and KAYMEK A.S. They produced 68 valuable artworks over a period of approximately 1 year, both in the academy facilities and within the hospital. These valuable paintings will be presented to you after the opening. KAYMEK A.S., as an affiliate of the metropolitan municipality, is described by the governor as the ‘sixth university in Kayseri,’ providing services ranging from art to commerce and displaying handmade products with meticulous attention. In this way, while serving the citizens, we come together with many exhibitions that we will present to your liking.’ Following the speeches, the exhibition was opened by the participants, and visitors toured the exhibition, receiving information about the artworks from the authorities.
