Aziz Yıldırım: ‘I disrupted all my comfort for Fenerbahçe to become champion and became a candidate’

Former president of Fenerbahçe and current presidential candidate Aziz Yıldırım, in a speech he made while meeting with Fenerbahçe supporters in Edirne, said, ‘I have sacrificed all my comfort for Fenerbahçe to become champions and became a candidate. But what I see is Fenerbahçe is on the right track while the wagon is going elsewhere. If the wagon goes off track, we can’t recover it again.’
Former president of Fenerbahçe and current presidential candidate Aziz Yıldırım, during a program where he met with Fenerbahçe members and fans in Edirne, asked for support. Yıldırım stated, ‘I want one term. I cannot serve more than one term. But what saddens me afterwards is this. One candidate appears. Then there is a second candidate. This is very dangerous, harmful. Organize among yourselves. Choose one president. Do not be afraid of money. Fenerbahçe will always have money.’

This is the last turning point, we all need to work and succeed in this. I want one term. I cannot serve more than one term. But what saddens me afterwards is this. One candidate appears. ‘Let’s come together and fix Fenerbahçe hand in hand’
Former President Yıldırım said, ‘Come on, put your heart into it and say we are also candidates, we will work, we will achieve this, make it happen. I am not saying this just for Edirne. I say this everywhere I go. Unite, Edirne, Çorlu, Tekirdağ, Silivri. A delegation should come from Thrace and fight. In the end, we lost. But we will have fought for Fenerbahçe. Meaning, in democracy, one must compete even if losing. But unfortunately, we all came as a dead mass. No one says anything. You write on social media, draw, and the next day it is forgotten anyway. It’s not like that, write by coming to the club, speak at the necessary congresses of the clubs, and react. Only with these reactions, they can see what these managements are up to.
