Turkish defense industry took its place at BSDA 2024 Fair

Turkish defense industry companies participated in the ‘BSDA 2024 Fair’ held in Romania between 22-24 May. The 9th International Black Sea Defense, Aviation and Security (BSDA 2024) Fair, which will last for three days from 22-24 May, is attended by official delegations from all over Europe, especially the Black Sea region. The fair provides an important platform for the defense industry to network, establish partnerships, share information, discover innovations and capabilities in all defense areas such as land, sea, air defense, border security, space, and cyber security sectors. While more than 400 companies from 33 countries participated in the fair in 2022, with over 30,000 visitors, Aselsan, Roketsan, Nurol Makina, Otokar, and Karel companies from Turkey are participating in BSDA 2024. Defense Industry President Prof. Dr. Haluk Görgün, who attended the fair, stated: ‘Today we are in Romania for the 9th International Black Sea Defense, Aviation and Security Fair (BSDA) following the first meeting of the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council with Romanian Prime Minister Ion-Marcel Ciolacu at the Presidential Complex. Our important companies are showcasing the engineering power of our defense industry at the fair. I wish that our fair visit, where we will deepen our strategic partnerships and hold many bilateral meetings, will be auspicious for both countries.’ Various platforms and systems produced by Turkish defense industry companies will be presented to participants at the fair, where collaboration opportunities will be evaluated.
