The collective opening of the design skill workshop, which was completed in 50 schools in Batman, took place

A collective opening ceremony was held for the Design Skills Workshop prepared in 50 disadvantaged schools in Batman city center and districts, in collaboration with the Batman Governorate, Provincial Special Administration, and Provincial Directorate of National Education.
Speaking at the opening ceremony held at Necat Nasıroğlu Secondary School in Çamlıca Neighborhood, Governor Ekrem Canalp stated that we are in the age of technology and emphasized the importance of adapting our society to this technology age starting from our schools. He mentioned the slogan that has always been in the back of our minds in the past: ‘Education is a must.’ Yes, education is a must, but what kind of education? What is the required education? Our society is constantly in search of this globally. This search never ends. But if you ask what the most critical point of this search is, it is knowing the education that meets the requirements of the age. In other words, if you need the new generations for the next 100 years, we are all responsible for providing them with education. The 50 design skills workshops we opened today, the 50 design skills workshops we will open next year, and the total of 150 design skills workshops we will open by 2026 will serve this purpose. This way, our children growing up here will not have to learn technology when they enter the workforce after finishing university. They will already be familiar with technology at the middle school age.
Following the speech, Governor Canalp, together with the participants, conducted the collective opening of the workshops prepared in the districts.
