The ‘3rd Inter-High School Theater Days’ opened in Eyüpsultan

The ‘3rd Inter-School Theater Days’, where a total of 10 plays by Eyüpsultan Municipality Theater School students will be staged, has started. Eyüpsultan Mayor Dr. Mithat Bülent Özmen, who watched the play ‘The Name of This Place is Istanbul’ performed by Eyüp Anatolian High School students, said, ‘I promise you, I will do my best to meet all your demands for art, literature, and theater.’ The ‘3rd Inter-School Theater Days’, where high school students receiving education at the Theater School affiliated with Eyüpsultan Municipality Youth and Sports Services Directorate stage their plays, has begun. The curtains of the 3rd Inter-School Theater Days, where a total of 10 plays by 8 high schools in Eyüpsultan and one mixed group of high school students will be staged, opened with the play ‘Women Screaming from Limbo’ performed by the Mixed High School Group. On Monday, May 20th, as part of the 3rd Inter-School Theater Days, Eyüpsultan Anatolian High School staged ‘The Name of This Place is Istanbul’ and Hacı Osman Torun Anatolian Imam Hatip High School staged ‘The Condemned Youth’. Eyüpsultan Mayor Dr. Mithat Bülent Özmen, who watched the play ‘The Name of This Place is Istanbul’ performed by Eyüp Anatolian High School students during the event, said in his speech on stage after the play, ‘I am proud of every minute of it. I am proud of every minute of it. There are shining young siblings among the audience and siblings who show a magnificent performance on stage. I say this for all my friends from Eyüpsultan, theater, literature, and art will be much more present in our lives. As Eyüpsultan Municipality, we will open up more space for you in this regard. Because theater, literature, and art are actually the most important ones in the veins of our lives.
