Projects that ranked in the R&D Project Market received their awards

The awards were presented to the winners at the 3rd R&D Project Market competition held within the organization of the Anatolian Universities Association and hosted by Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University. A total of 305 applications were submitted in the scope of the R&D project market competition. Out of these, 251 projects passed the initial evaluation, and 156 of them were accepted for presentation. Projects competed in 4 different categories: Engineering and Basic Sciences, Biotechnology and Health Sciences, Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences, and Entrepreneurship. The top 3 academics and students in each category were presented with gifts. In the Engineering and Basic Sciences category, Dr. Assistant Professor Cevdet Emin Ekinci from Fırat University received the first prize in the academic category, Coşkun Cengiz from Tokat Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School received the second prize, and Prof. Dr. Mustafa Soylak from Erciyes University received the third prize. The awards were presented to the academics who ranked in this category. In the student category of Engineering and Basic Sciences, Meryem Betül Kara from Kayseri University received the first prize, Furkan Enes Çiçek from Sakarya University received the second prize, and Muhammed Emin Gücenir from Kayseri University received the third prize. The awards for the students who ranked in this category were presented by the President of AÜB and the Rector of Erciyes University, Prof. Dr. Fatih Altun. In the Biotechnology and Health Sciences category, Dr. Assistant Professor Güven Akçay from Hitit University received the first prize in the academic category, Research Assistant Hakkı Halil Babacan from Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University received the second prize, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fatih Ada from Sivas Cumhuriyet University received the third prize. The awards for the academics who ranked in this category were presented by our Rector, Prof. Dr. Akın Levent. In the student category of Biotechnology and Health Sciences, Derya Ertaş from Erciyes University received the first prize, Begün Dönmez from Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University received the second prize, and Berkan Yıldırım from Kırşehir Ahi Evran University received the third prize. The awards for the students who ranked in this category were presented by the Rector of Kırşehir Ahi Evran University, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil. In the Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences category, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Emre Hastaoğlu from Sivas Cumhuriyet University received the first prize in the academic category, Prof. Dr. Yaşar Akça from Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University received the second prize, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Halil İbrahim Öztürk from Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University received the third prize. The academics who ranked in this field were presented with their awards by the Rector of Yozgat Bozok University, Prof. Dr. Evren Yaşar. In the student category of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences, Cebrail Yıldırım from Yozgat Bozok University received the first prize, Mehmet Barış Kolakan from Kırşehir Ahi Evran University received the second prize, and Erkan Şenyurt from Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University received the third prize. The students who ranked in this field received their gifts from the Rector of Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University, Prof. Dr. Fatih Yılmaz. The first prize in the Entrepreneurship category was awarded to Esen Atabeyli Çağlık. Çağlık was presented with the award by the Vice Rector of Fırat University, Prof. Dr. Soner Özgen. The ceremony concluded after the awards were presented.
