Turkish Rock Music beloved Haluk Levent, took the stage during the 47th International Aksu Festival organized by Giresun Municipality, and provided an unforgettable night for thousands of Giresun locals who filled Giresun Atatürk Square. Prior to the concert, Giresun Mayor Fuat Köse, who met with the artist on stage and presented flowers and hazelnuts, stated in response to the slogans of ‘Fuat Mayor’ from Giresun locals, ‘You are the real mayors, you deserve the best of everything, that’s why we brought Haluk Levent to Giresun for you.’ The young fan danced with him. Thousands of young and old Giresun locals, who filled Atatürk Square, had an unforgettable night with the beautiful songs and folk songs performed by Haluk Levent. In addition to his performance on stage, the artist also mingled with the audience by coming down from the stage and sang some of his songs among the audience. Haluk Levent danced with a young female fan to his song ‘Zor Aşk’ (Difficult Love). Emotional moments were experienced during the concert. Haluk Levent, who needed support for the treatment of a disease he had in his childhood, met again on stage with Hayati Gedük, who had organized a charity concert for him in 1994. Inviting Gedük and his wife on stage, the artist shared memories from 30 years ago with the audience, causing emotional moments. Levent, in his speech on stage, said, ‘Hayati was a little child in 1994. He needed to undergo many difficult surgeries for the treatment of the disease he had. I had come to Giresun for a charity concert. Then we made sure all his treatments were done. Hayati is now a grown man, married, and started a family.’ The artist who provided a pleasant night for the people of Giresun, celebrated May 19th Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day, and completed his concert by singing the Izmir March with the Turkish flag in his hand.
