Before the concert, Inan Güney took the stage and said, “I respectfully commemorate Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and his comrades who landed in Samsun after boarding the Bandırma Ferry, saying ‘I cannot live without a homeland’. These lands are where pessimism and giving up are forbidden. How fortunate we are to be the children of a nation that has risen stronger in the face of every difficulty. How fortunate we are to be in the country of young, intelligent, and agile children. How fortunate we are to be the ones who, together with our young people, open the doors to a bright future in the second century of the Republic.” Calling for unity, Güney addressed the youth, saying, “Read, learn, produce, grow. Follow every question that arouses curiosity in you. With your energy, curiosity, and determination, you will build bright days. Believe in yourselves, your heritage, the Republic, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, trust and never give up. Let’s hold tight to the Republic entrusted to us by Ghazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. Let’s hold tight to all the beautiful people of our country. Let’s hold tight to the future of our country.”
