Commemoration concert for Ozkan Ugur was organized
Inonu University Polyphonic Choir performed the legendary songs of Özkan Uğur and MFÖ with great enthusiasm, in memory of the unforgettable figure in the music world. The concert held at Turgut Ozal Congress and Culture Center received great acclaim from art enthusiasts.

Inonu University Polyphonic Choir remembered the unforgettable figure of the music world, Ozkan Uğur, and enthusiastically performed his and MFÖ’s legendary songs. The concert held at Turgut Ozal Congress and Culture Center received great interest from art lovers. While honoring the art and spirit of Ozkan Uğur, the concert brought to life the beloved melodies of MFÖ with the impressive performance of Inonu University Polyphonic Choir. The event was attended by Prof. Dr. Adil Başkıran, Chief Physician of Inonu University Turgut Ozal Medical Center, Prof. Dr. Ünal İmik, Director of Inonu University Conservatory, and Prof. Dr. Bülent Yılmaz, Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design. The commemorative concert brought together university members and the people of Malatya, offering an unforgettable night. Under the direction of Assoc. Prof. Dr. M. Güneş Açıkgöz, the choir took the stage to keep Ozkan Uğur’s musical legacy alive, offering the audience an emotional journey with MFÖ songs. At the end of the performance, deep love and respect for the artist were expressed with enthusiastic applause. Another emotional moment of the concert was a video message sent by Ozkan Uğur’s wife Aysun Aslan. In her message, Aslan expressed, ‘It has been a long time since we lost Ozkan Uğur, which felt like years to me. I believe that it is not possible for me to forget him, just as I think it is for you. Indeed, this wonderful concert news I received made me very happy. It also made my son very happy. Thank you very much for your interest. Keeping Ozkan Uğur’s name alive is everyone’s duty.
