The ‘Unlimited Spring Festival’ was organized by the Beylikdüzü Neighbor Association in honor of the Disability Week. Disabled children and their families who attended the festival had a great time. The event was held within the scope of the Disability Week, from 12th to 16th of May, with the contributions of Beylikdüzü Neighbor Association, Beylikdüzü Rota Special Education, Müge Toker Kindergarten, and American Life Language School. The event took place at Beylikdüzü Life Valley. Children had a great time at the event, where disabled individuals and families participated. Disabled children sang songs on stage and then watched a magic show. The event, where disabled children and families socialized, was filled with colorful moments. ‘As a mother of a disabled child, I thank you very much,’ said Bilgen Öniz, a communication consultant and writer who attended the program. ‘Today, we came together in the context of the Disability Week from 12th to 16th of May. Our children, disabled individuals, and families are having a pleasant day here today with the contributions of Rota Special Education and Rehabilitation Center, American Life Language School, and Müge Toker Special Education and Rehabilitation Center. In order to understand each other, we need to spend time together. I think these events are very important for this. We should spend more time together, not hesitate to ask each other about our troubles and worries. As a mother of a disabled child, I also thank everyone who organized this event,’ she said. Fatma Nur Şahin, one of the disabled children who attended the event, said, ‘I had a lot of fun. We danced the halay, sang songs, it was very enjoyable.’ Berat Deniz, another disabled individual, said, ‘I really liked the event, I am happy, it was fun. I ate a sandwich, danced the halay, played, I am very happy.’
