The abandoned Aquapark is being transformed into a Fairy Tale Park

Aquapark, which is in a dormant state in an area of 15,800 square meters in Isparta, is being transformed into Masal Park by the Isparta Municipality. Mayor Basdegirmen, who examined the area, stated that the park will be turned into a living center that will appeal to everyone, saying, ‘Every area to be used here is very valuable, it will be a year-long effort.’ Located in the heart of Isparta, the Aquapark area in Davraz neighborhood, which has been dormant for 15 years, is starting to be worked on. The 15,800 square meter aquapark area, which was among the promises of Mayor Sukru Basdegirmen before the elections, is being reorganized to appeal to citizens of all ages, especially women and children. Mayor Sukru Basdegirmen, along with deputy mayors and department heads, examined every part of the area and gave instructions regarding the works to be done, stating that the area will be turned into a living center that will appeal to everyone, especially women and children. Mayor Sukru Basdegirmen stated that the region will be cleaned by the Directorate of Municipal Services and Cleaning Services, debris will be disposed of, and the underground parking lot and other areas under the aquapark will be arranged in accordance with the prepared project. Mayor Basdegirmen mentioned that they will prepare a project mainly focusing on women and children in the Aquapark area, some of the pools will be transformed into decorative pools, and a section of the project can be arranged as a women’s coffeehouse according to the wishes of women. Mayor Basdegirmen also mentioned that Masal Park will be established on an area of 15,800 square meters, and in one part of the park, basketball, volleyball courts, and a tennis court will be built, stating that a beautiful park that can serve citizens of all ages, in addition to women and children, will be opened, saying, ‘Every area to be used here is very valuable, it will be a year-long effort.’
