Samsun trams dressed up for May 19th

Trams, the favorite transportation vehicles of the city, by Samsun Metropolitan Municipality, were specially decorated for the enthusiasm of May 19th, Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day. Samsun Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Halit Doğan stated that this special day is the most important step dedicated to the youth and the entire Turkish nation, saying, ‘We are working to make the enthusiasm of this special day felt everywhere in our city.’ Streets and avenues of the city by Samsun Metropolitan Municipality are adorned with flags and banners reflecting the historical significance of May 19th, while some trams were specially designed to join this enthusiasm. Trams reflecting the spirit of May 19th with Turkish flag motifs are receiving great admiration in every corner of the city. The enthusiasm of May 19th continues not only on trams but also with events organized all around the city. Sports activities, concerts, exhibitions, shows, and various events organized with the participation of youth and all citizens continue to be celebrated with great enthusiasm in Samsun, the city where the sun rises.
