Hacılar Mayor Bilal Özdoğan provided another support for agriculture and animal husbandry. In the facility in the district where cream, cheese, and yogurt are produced from buffalo milk under the brand ‘Mandam’, preparations have been completed for the production of Mozzarella cheese. In Hacılar Hürmetçi Neighborhood, the ‘Buffalo Milk Processing Facility’ established in 2020 with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, Kayseri Governorship, and Hacılar Municipality is undergoing capacity expansion to allow for the production of new products. Processing one ton of buffalo milk daily, the facility offers buffalo milk products such as cheese, yogurt, and cream in many sales points, and now Mozzarella cheese will also be produced. Mayor Bilal Özdoğan announced the commencement of the expansion works of the facility, stating that the ongoing efforts aim to promote the Mandam brand nationwide. With the completion of the Mozzarella cheese production, the local brand of Hacılar will find its place on all tables. Mayor Özdoğan continued his words by stating: ‘In cooperation with the Agricultural Provincial Directorate, we are here to inspect the final stage of the expansion of our facility and the production of Mozzarella cheese. We have supported the Mozzarella cheese production project initiated by the ORAN Development Agency as the municipality. We will continue to support efforts to increase the production capacity of our facility that produces cheese, yogurt, and cream under the Mandam brand. In this regard, both local government and central government discussed what we can do. We will strive to make our facility even bigger, develop it, and offer new products to Turkey from Kayseri. We will stand by our association. I thank everyone involved, especially our Ministry. These facilities will be beneficial for our Hürmetçi, Karpuzseki, Dokuzpınar, and all of Kayseri in terms of tourism and production. We will work to maximize this benefit.’
