Güven Park is being renewed

Renovation works in Güven Park, located in Güvenevler Neighborhood and conducted by the central district Yenişehir Municipality of Mersin, are nearing completion. Covering a total area of 2,000 square meters, Güven Park has undergone a comprehensive renovation process by Yenişehir Municipality. As part of the works, the park’s pavements, sports equipment, and all other facilities have been renewed. The redesigned park will be presented to the public with its modern facilities. Yenişehir Municipality will also build a Retirement Home within the park, where retirees can engage in social activities, relax, and spend their time. Yenişehir Municipality’s Park and Gardens Department teams are tirelessly continuing their efforts to complete the park in a short period. The park will feature playgrounds for children, modern sports equipment for enthusiasts, and walking paths. Yenişehir Mayor Abdullah Özyiğit, who inspected the park’s works on-site, stated that the renovation works in Güven Park aim to provide citizens with a more modern and functional space to spend their time. He emphasized the importance of urban areas not only consisting of buildings and roads but also providing spaces that meet people’s social, cultural, and physical needs. Güven Park, located at the heart of Yenişehir district, is a significant living space where citizens can breathe, relax, and socialize. The goal of renovating Güven Park was to create a venue with modern facilities that meet the needs of citizens of all ages. Mayor Özyiğit expressed confidence that citizens will love the new face of the park.
