Oratory is a skill that requires not only self-expression but also research, learning, and the ability to analyze and interpret. Our students internalizing and conveying the future visions of our country’s intellectuals by reading their works further enriches these activities. Sezai Karakoç was a laborer of hearts who managed to stand with a clear face in the presence of history, revitalizing the quest for meaning in souls. He was a writer, artist, and man of action who enriched our world of meaning with his works and thoughts in the intellectual, literary, and human context. Being able to comprehend his personality, life, and works will be a very important source of light for us and our esteemed students.”
“The revival corpus is the salvation corpus of not only our nation but also humanity.” Turkey Writers Association Istanbul Branch President Mahmut Bıyıklı said, “Sezai Karakoç was a pioneer of revival who brought fresh mountain air to the closed and polluted air of cities. This exceptional figure, who dedicated his life to the cause of the revival of our civilization, was almost a gift from our Lord to our nation. He set an example and led the way with what he wrote and lived. The revival corpus is the salvation guide of our nation and humanity. Reminding of Necip Fazıl’s saying ‘To understand Abdülhamid will be to understand everything,’ understanding Sezai Karakoç also means understanding everything. Because he has provided solutions to the problems of the age in every field, he is a writer that our youth must read.”
