A cooperation protocol was signed between the State Theaters General Directorate and the Nicosia Municipal Theater

A cultural and artistic cooperation protocol was signed between the State Theaters General Directorate and the Nicosia Municipal Theater to contribute to the cultural and artistic dimension of tourism. The protocol, which emphasized the theater field, was signed in a ceremony held in the capital of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Nicosia, between the State Theaters General Directorate and the Nicosia Municipal Theater. The cooperation protocol, signed by the Deputy General Manager and Chief Director Sükun Işıtan on behalf of the State Theaters General Directorate, and by the Culture, Arts, and Theater Branch Manager of Nicosia Turkish Municipality, Kıymet Karabiber, aims to cooperate in the field of theater and culture-art based on mutual and equality principles, and to contribute to the cultural and artistic dimension of tourism through culture-art and theater. Reciprocal invitations to cultural and artistic events will be made between the State Theaters and the Culture, Arts, and Theater Branch of Nicosia Turkish Municipality, and experience and knowledge exchange will be carried out in a way that enables the development and dissemination of theater art in line with ethical and aesthetic principles, universal art disciplines, and norms. The protocol signed at the signing ceremony attended by the Art Technical Director of the State Theaters General Directorate, Hakan Dündar, the Deputy Director of Ankara State Theater Ulaş Ersoy, and the artists of Nicosia Municipal Theater, will further strengthen the ties between the Republic of Turkey and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, and especially open the door to a productive and efficient cooperation process between the artists of both countries through experience and knowledge exchange.
