In order not to forget the mothers who lost their lives in the earthquakes centered in Kahramanmaraş in Hatay, the florist Kubilay Yolay in the İskenderun district started a special application for citizens with insufficient financial means.

Support poured in from all over Turkey for the ‘Flowers on a Hanger’ campaign. Disaster-affected citizens had the opportunity to take flowers to their mothers’ graves without paying any fees.

Emotional Return of Mother and Earthquake Victim Meryem Ceylan

Meryem Ceylan, who rescued her daughter, son-in-law, and grandchildren from under the rubble in the February 6 earthquake, emotionally supported the campaign.

Speaking about the campaign, the florist Kubilay Yolay said, ‘The support for this beautiful initiative makes me very happy. Our goal is to create more awareness and reach more mothers.’
