Symptoms and Diagnosis of Prostate Cancer

Çelik pointed out that in the early stages of prostate cancer, there may not be clear symptoms, and patients usually seek medical attention with complaints related to urination. However, he mentioned that these complaints may not be directly associated with prostate cancer. He stated that prostate cancer generally does not have specific symptoms and advised patients to have regular check-ups starting from the age of 40-45.

Prostate Cancer Risks and Nutrition in Our Region

Çelik mentioned that the risk of prostate cancer is slightly higher in the Eastern Black Sea Region and stated that dietary habits in the region influence this situation. He expressed that excessive consumption of animal products may increase susceptibility to prostate cancer, highlighting that heavy cheese types, in particular, could elevate this risk.
