Famous Artists Interested in the Church

Real estate consultant Abdulvahap Yıldız, providing information about the church, said, “After putting the church up for sale, there was an extreme demand, but due to it being a historical structure that requires restoration, we plan to sell it through an auction. We have had many discussions through agents of people from abroad and famous artists. Some are still in the negotiation phase,” he said.

Yıldız emphasized the need for restoration of the church and stated, “Since this church has served as a place of worship for years, we want to hand over this building to someone who values it. We are striving to give it to someone who will appreciate its value, contribute to it, and truly restore it. The auction will be conducted in the presence of a notary and based on confidentiality. It will start at 5 million TL and bids will be in increments of 100 thousand TL. This place can also be used as a place of worship, but we truly want it to be in the hands of someone who will preserve this culture,” he added.
