President of Religious Affairs Ali Erbaş Attended

The President of Religious Affairs, Ali Erbaş, attended the ‘Hafiz Ijazah Ceremony’ held in the Yenimahalle district of Ankara. In his speech at the program, he stated that hafiz ceremonies are the most auspicious ceremonies and emphasized the importance of hafizes.

The Hafizes Will Carry the Beautiful Names of Our Lord

Erbaş emphasized that hafizes carry one of the Beautiful Names of Allah, expressing that this title is a great blessing. He pointed out the importance of hafizes memorizing the Quran and protecting it, stating his belief that the Quran will be preserved until the Day of Judgment.

“As challenging as memorizing the Quran is, getting it memorized is equally challenging.”

Congratulating the hafizes, their families, and teachers, Erbaş highlighted the importance of providing and receiving hafiz education. He underlined the necessity for hafizes to support their families, be grateful to their teachers, and hoped that they would show their gratitude by training new hafizes in the future.

• The ceremony was attended by Yenimahalle District Governor Tahsin Kurtbeyoğlu, Deputy President of Religious Affairs Prof. Dr. Huriye Martı, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Education Mehmet Nezir Gül, and Yenimahalle District Mufti Murat Okuyar.
• A total of 94 female students received hafiz certificates, and the program took place with the participation of families and citizens.
