The activities of the distinguished observer day of the SEA WOLF-II/2024 Exercise conducted by the Naval Forces Command in the Eastern Mediterranean have begun.

Observers Gathered at Aksaz Port

Within the scope of the exercise, 18 military attachés from Germany, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Finland, Georgia, Iraq, Japan, TRNC, Libya, Malaysia, Nigeria, Portugal, Sierra Leone, Jordan, and Yemen gathered at Aksaz Port on the distinguished observer day held in the Eastern Mediterranean.

Participation from Different Countries

The attachés from the participating countries will have the opportunity to closely follow the SEA WOLF-II/2024 Exercise in the Eastern Mediterranean by visiting the frigates, corvettes, submarines, auxiliary ships, mine warfare vessels, and patrol vessels.

Minister of National Defense Greeted the Ships

Another special moment of this day was the visit of the Minister of National Defense, Yaşar Güler, to the TCG Salihreis ship. Minister Güler greeted the personnel on board and conveyed their support for the exercise. Upon leaving the port, the TCG Istanbul and TCG Salihreis frigates saluted Minister Güler with gun salutes.
