In the district of Yüksekova in Hakkari, snow removal teams are dealing with 5-meter snow tunnels. The Hakkari Provincial Special Administration General Secretariat and the Yüksekova District Special Administration Directorate Site Management teams continue their snow removal work on the roads of Doski Valley, Büyükçiftlik town, and the base areas of Esendere Municipality.
The teams are facing difficult times against snow masses reaching up to 5 meters in some places and using an excavator in areas where they cannot open with a shovel. Despite it being May, snow removal teams stated that snow removal works are still ongoing in various parts of Yüksekova.
Meanwhile, despite it being May, seeing the snowy roads resembling tunnels, citizens take plenty of souvenir photos to capture this extraordinary view.
