Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, Ibrahim Yumaklı, shared the successes achieved in Turkey’s agriculture sector. Minister Yumaklı stated that in 2023, they exported 2,200 different agricultural products to 212 countries and regions, generating approximately 31 billion dollars in export revenue. Additionally, he emphasized that significant steps have been taken in the sector to increase agricultural production through regulations.

Minister Yumaklı highlighted Turkey’s strategic position, stating that the country is a significant exporter of agricultural products in Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa regions. Minister Yumaklı pointed out that the export figures for 2023 indicate the success of the sector and emphasized the need to utilize this experience more effectively.
