Erzincan resident Eray Gül, who was fascinated by the natural beauties of Tunceli, decided to go on a nature walk with his family in Munzur Valley. In one of these exploratory walks, he had unforgettable moments with a squirrel he encountered at Halvori Springs.
While taking photos at Halvori Springs, Eray Gül noticed a cute squirrel approaching him. Impressed by the squirrel’s interest, Gül decided to share his bagels and pastries with the squirrel. The squirrel, without hesitation, fed from Gül’s hand. These intimate moments in nature were also captured by the cameras.
Enchanted by the natural life and rich wildlife of Tunceli, Gül expressed his feelings by saying, ‘The Tunceli region truly hosts unique beauties. It is possible to encounter different animal species in this region. I have witnessed feeding many animals such as bear, fox, and goat. The friendship memory with the squirrel was unforgettable for me. I feel that Tunceli’s nature leads people to peace and happiness.’
