Special Program for Writer Tolga Aydoğan from Ankara Metropolitan Municipality

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality (ABB) hosted the writer Tolga Aydoğan as part of the ‘Ankara Heritage Events’ program. Aydoğan focused on a lesser-known period in the life of the famous poet Orhan Veli Kanık and elaborated on it in detail.

At the event organized by the Department of Cultural and Natural Heritage Protection of ABB, researcher and writer Tolga Aydoğan deeply examined the relationship between Orhan Veli Kanık and Ankara. He delivered a detailed presentation based on his book describing Kanık’s traces in Ankara.

• “ I wanted to emphasize Orhan Veli’s traces in Ankara. By researching lesser-known aspects so far, I elaborated on them in detail in my book. My aim is to convey Orhan Veli’s life and influences in Ankara to the participants.”
