Police officer Muhammed Erdem Yiğit, who lost his life in a traffic accident in Sarıyer, was bid farewell today. The funeral prayer for Yiğit, who lost his life in the accident, was performed at Bağcılar 100th Year Central Mosque.
Accident Details
Police Officer Muhammed Erdem Yiğit collided with a vehicle coming from the opposite direction on his way back from the training course at Adile Sadullah Mermerci Police School in Sarıyer Kilyos Neighborhood. Despite all interventions, Yiğit, who was seriously injured, was taken to the hospital but unfortunately could not be saved and lost his life.
Final Farewell
The funeral prayer of Police Officer Muhammed Erdem Yiğit was performed at Bağcılar 100th Year Central Mosque after the afternoon prayer and he was buried in Sultangazi Cebeci Cemetery. Istanbul Governor Davut Gül, Provincial Police Chief Zafer Aktaş, Bağcılar Mayor Abdullah Özdemir, Esenler Mayor Mehmet Tevfik Göksu, and many police officers and citizens attended the funeral prayer.
