General Weather Forecast

According to the latest evaluations by the General Directorate of Meteorology, it is predicted that the country will have partly to mostly cloudy skies with scattered showers and thunderstorms. Heavy rainfall is expected in the eastern parts of Marmara, northern parts of Central Anatolia, inner regions of Western and Central Black Sea, northern and western parts of Eastern Anatolia, and around Antalya. Dust transport is expected in the eastern regions.

Weather Forecast Details

According to the forecasts from the General Directorate of Meteorology, the air temperature will decrease by 4 to 6 degrees along with rainy weather starting from the western parts towards the inner and northern regions. The wind is expected to blow from northerly directions in the northern and western regions and from southerly directions in other places, with light to occasionally moderate strength. In Marmara and the Aegean Coast, strong winds from the north (40-70 km/h) are expected, while in the southern and eastern parts of Central Anatolia, inner and eastern parts of the Black Sea, and Eastern Anatolia, strong winds blowing from the south and occasionally reaching stormy levels (70-100 km/h) are expected.
