The Mayor of Yunusemre, Semih Balaban, has initiated a cleanliness campaign in the district under the slogan ‘Clean Yunusemre’. Mayor Balaban, who set out for the people of Yunusemre to live in a clean environment, aims to increase awareness of cleanliness in the district.

First Day Event Details

Within the campaign named ‘Clean Yunusemre, Clean Environment’, Mayor Balaban and his team collected garbage for 3.5 hours in the neighborhoods of Barbaros and Horozköy. Detailed information was provided about the collected waste.

Mayor’s Statements

Speaking after the garbage collection event, the Mayor of Yunusemre, Semih Balaban, emphasized that the cleanliness campaign is not symbolic and stated that they will do their best for the people to live in a clean environment. Mayor Balaban mentioned that the cleanliness campaign will continue, and it will be carried out in different neighborhoods every Saturday.
