Yıldız Techno GSYF: Strengthening Turkey’s Innovation Potential

The Yıldız Techno Venture Capital Investment Fund (GSYF), which was launched to increase Turkey’s technology exports and strengthen the entrepreneurship ecosystem, is preparing to expand the country’s innovation potential with its massive fund size. Established in partnership with YTÜ Yıldız Technopark and BV Portföy, Yıldız Techno GSYF, with its national and international investor network, will meet the funding needs of entrepreneurs.
Comprehensive Support and Investments to Support Entrepreneurs
Yıldız Techno GSYF aims to provide strategic and comprehensive support to ventures operating in a wide range of fields such as gaming, software-based services, FinTech, InsureTech, artificial intelligence, e-commerce, and mobility. Entrepreneurs operating in a wide range from incubation to advanced stages will be supported with the fund. Investments will be made in different ways according to the growth stages and needs of the ventures.
Growth Targeted with Nationally Valuable Investments
Standing out with a fund size of 1 billion TL, Yıldız Techno GSYF aims to invest in companies and entrepreneurs located in the technopark. The aim of the investments is to play a significant role in transforming Turkey into a center of entrepreneurship and innovation by increasing the country’s technology exports.

Expressing that the development of countries goes through universities, Prof. Dr. Tamer Yılmaz, the Rector of Yıldız Technical University, said, “I have proudly held the position of Rector of Yıldız Technical University for the past four years. Emphasizing that they are in a structure that builds the future, Orhan Tanışman, General Manager of YTÜ Yıldız Technopark, stated that with a unique knowledge accumulation of Yıldız culture with a 113-year history, they have a deep structure with 160,000 alumni, nearly 20,000 Technopark employees, and 40,000 students.
