The Turkish Language Day and Yunus Emre Commemoration events, which are organized for the 747th time in Karaman this year, started with great enthusiasm. The events began with a visit to the tomb of Yunus Emre located in the Yunus Emre Mosque after Friday prayers. Karaman Governor Hüseyin Engin Sarıibrahim, AK Party Karaman Deputy Selman Oğuzhan Eser, Karaman Mayor Savaş Kalaycı, and other protocol members participated in the tomb visit.
Following the visit to the Yunus Emre Tomb, the events continued with the recitation of the Quran and prayers. Today, Poetry Concert, Mixed Exhibition, and the opening of the Photo Exhibition of Turkish World Cultural Capitals by TURKSOY will continue the events. The people of Karaman, representatives of political parties, and non-governmental organizations will come together to celebrate the Turkish Language Day in these special events.
