The relationship between Turkey and the European Union (EU) was discussed at the panel titled “Turkey-EU Relations from Past to Present” organized at Istanbul Arel University. It was emphasized in the panel that the Customs Union Agreement with the EU needs to be updated, and it was stated that especially visa and migration issues have a negative impact on the relations with the EU.
